CTS PROJECT 1: ULTIMATE SURVIVAL KIT

I was very very excited for the first project for CTS because CTS is my favourite subject in semester 1.
Introducing you the How To Survive A Horrible Date survival kit.

Group Task
In this project, students were asked to form groups of 10 person and were given a theme to create our specific Ultimate Survival Kit. We were required to include 20 items which are usable and practical to be in the Survival Kit, which means each student in the group will have to think of 2 items that is relevant to the Survival Kit. Besides, we need to create our own Manual on how to use the Survival Kit and also an advertisement video of our Survival Kit.

On the other hand, we were also required to create our own Survival Kit Packaging, Logo and Branding, and put everything together professionally. The items should be package properly and creatively to reflect the theme that is given to the group. There should be proper labeling, relevant choice of material and proper segmentation of each item.

Other than that, a Group Journal which document the process in creating the Survival Kit and the storyboard for our Advertisement Video.

We listed down the things that we need for the items of our Survival Kit and each of us had to prepare 2 items each.

20 items for our Survival Kit.

While doing our packaging for the inner drawer.

For our individual task, Students are required to show their investigation, exploration and process of selecting their own two items. In this task students are required to include sketches and doodles of ideas about the items. This documentation have to be drawn on loose A4 paper which will be included in the Group Journal.

From this project, I was very glad that I was able to communicate with other group mates, which can avoid unnecessary conflicts which can slow down the progress and efficiency of doing work among the group members. I've learnt that it's very important to be able think fast when solving problems.
